of this little critter under all their cuteness!
This painting is of a Townsend Chipmunk. They live in coniferous forests
in the Cascades.
I painted this painting after seeing one defend it's winter cache from me, as I walked down the trail. She chirped and clicked at me. When I looked right at her she tried to look big, before disappearing into the trees. Not to cause her anymore distress, I walked on.
