This 18 x 24 inch acrylic painting was done in three parts. It was an experimental peice in order to create realistic rain.
I wanted to show a close up of a rainwater hitting a water source. Later I realized that the percpetive was of something small.

The water looks wavy, but only if you were small enough to see it, which is why I added the small frog in the corner. To show it's point of view of the rain.

Then finally to create a good flow of the peice I added all the vegetation. It caries the color through out the canvas. Otherwise the main colors are browns and grays.

Rainfall is framed in a 3' distressed brown wood with white liner and brown wood fillet. For sale: $465
